About 1 year after our marriage we discovered some things about our faith that totally revolutionized our walk with God.  We haven’t been the same since!  We discovered how the Old Testament is alive today just as it ever has been.  We started learning about the feasts and festivals that belonged to all the tribes in the bible…and how each of them were unique prophecies of God Himself.  Tabernacles is a time when God reigns with us…and many believe that He was born in a tent during this time.  Passover – for thousands of years, the believers would sacrifice a lamb for their sins and on this day the spotless, sinless messiah also died on the very hour to the day of the sacrifices.  He then fulfilled the festival of “First Fruits” resurrecting on that exact day. Pentecost is when the Holy Spirit was poured out. Again, the location of this festival was pre-determined and celebrated for thousands of years.  Feast of Trumpets is when Yeshua will gather us up to the Great supper, and just a little while later, we will return with him on Atonement, where he will reign for 1000 years.  Discover how I decorated for this holiday here…..

I love decorating and sewing, and if allowed myself to get totally immersed in it, I am afraid I wouldn’t surface. I am happy to come to the point in my life where I don’t have a million projects on the go, but who doesn’t have at least a dozen?

I originally studied to be a police officer, and wanted something to do with law, but looking back, I wouldn’t have survived. I love shopping flea markets, garage sales, and looking for those unique finds. Who doesn’t like shopping? I don’t apologize for going into the roughest shops in town to find the best deals. I still love a good paint finish, and my dad teases me that our house is held up with paint alone, because EVERYTHING has been painted several times over.

I regularly feature great pieces from other blogs and sellers simply because I love what they have to offer. I try to lift up others who are also working on their own small businesses, to share the love and hopefully throw the business around. Lifting each other up, than competing is my motto to blogging and business.
