I don’t know about you, but I have less desire to be on Facebook everyday. What alternative social media platforms are you guys using in light of all these big ones going more and more Orwellian?
Barb Wegner Gab.ai seems to be done as controlled opposition but it is working well for getting the truth out to people for now at least.
Michele Bowden I have a steemit and voat account. I haven’t made the change over completely but at times I want to. I stay on FB for the forums I belong to.
Wolfram Christian Strienz There’s no alternative in social media platforms. Therefor – more praying and biblereading would be the option.
Audrey RV I’m looking for something too. I’m testing seen.is right now and am lazily looking at steemit
Isa Ryan Real life I guess? I spend more time on Bloglovin, Pinterest, and listening to audiobooks, which isn’t really less Orwellian just less…Facebook
Terra Barton III tons of you tubers are already over at Seen. myself included. when it gets too bad here I will move.
Demetrius Barrett I’ve moved to ‘Gab’ to replace Twitter… and ‘vid.me’ to replace YouTube… considering ‘Steemit’ as a repacement for FB
Heidi Sabol Gab has a huge waiting list, I’ve been on it for months
Doug Overmyer I use BeBee. It’s an effective blogging platform, and positions itself as an alternative to LinkedIn more so than FB. Haven’t yet mastered the groups concept (called Hives), but I think there’s big potential there. (I also have Minds accounts, but have found most users there a bit too enamored with anonymous and anarchy). https://www.bebee.com/bee/doug-overmyer
Kathy Knight-mcconnell Seen.life is okay, but it is a simpler platform and they only keep posts for 20 days then they disappear. You also have to wade through a lot of traffic if you have a lot of friends on there, as you see everywhere they post and every message.
Jesse Ridder There’s a Christian Facebook site called 12:4 Connect.
William Roger Keith I use Facebook as a news generator.
I “like” the pages I desire and Un-follow, not un-friend, the senseless chatter.
I can then check on any friend I wish at any time on my terms.
Works for me.
Geoff Allen GAB won’t censor anything.
Mary T. Abraham Instagram because it’s quick and painless compared to facebook
Beth Cruce Alvarez I get on FB less and less. Usually to just interact with family and really close friends. I can’t STAND the thought of starting something new. Trying to DO more things rather than deal with devices.
